Overview - Welcome
Welcome to the TRAP-IT Security Planner.  You now know how turn the Planner on, use the stylus as your mouse, and touch it to the screen to find the help menu. 

At this point you can choose to:

·  Watch an orientation video that will
    introduce you to using the TRAP-IT
    PLANNER,
           or
·   Go into the Security Planning process.

When you make your choice, simply tap the screen one time with the stylus on either the Orientation or Go button.




 
Home
You have chosen to enter the planning process.  At this screen you should review the detailed information about your plant that has been placed into the system by TRAP-IT customer service.  The information shown in the light colored registration screen contains your TRAP-IT Food Security Plan License Number and is the identifier to which the TRAP-IT PLANNER is assigned.  Your license number is not changeable since it is permanently assigned to a physical location.  Check to make certain it is correct.

 

In the same text box as your license number is the corporate affiliation and facility name.  This information may change as ownerships or company name changes.  You can modify your company information by tapping on the text line that states:

 

             “To modify your TRAP-IT Security Registration, click here!”

 

If your registration is correct, use your stylus to tap once on:

  • Start the Planning Process,
    or

  • Go back and watch the orientation.



 
Modify Your Registration

At this step there is a simple data entry screen that prompts you to amend facility information.  When you have completed this step, use your stylus to tap once on:

·         SAVE, which will save your edits
     and take you back to the home
     screen.
or
 ·         CANCEL, which will ignore your
     changes and take you back to the
     home screen.



 
Planning Process

At this screen you will see the image of a TRAP-ITÔ PLANNER, which briefly describes each Step of the Food Security Planning Process.  Use your stylus to tap on the Step buttons on the right hand side of the screen.  As you tap each button a brief description of each step will be displayed in the TRAP-ITÔ PLANNER image.

If the Step description matches what you want to do, simply tap “Go” with your stylus, and you will be taken to that step of the process.

Tapping the “Learn more” button on the Step description screen will take you to the Help information screen.
